All 356/912 engines have a steel plug in the bottom of the engine case to drain the oil. This plug has metric tapered threads and no seal ring is needed.
Valve covers finish off the engine but often warp or wear out over time. Replace warn-out, leaky valve covers before the oil catches your car on fire! These new covers fit perfectly and ensure a good seal. Make sure you use new gaskets when installing them.
